Freebirds Offers Free Food For ARF Donation

The burrito chain, set to open to the public on Monday, will hold a special event for ARF on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If you like animals and burritos, then Saturday will be a good day for you.

Freebirds Walnut Creek, set to open to the general public on Monday, is having a special offer on Saturday, December 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: people who donate a $5 donation to Tony Larussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation get complimentary food and drinks.

Freebirds, a 90-store national chain, will open on Dec. 17 in the Geary Marketplace neighborhood retail center at 1512 Geary Blvd.  Anchored by regional grocer Sprouts Farmer’s Market, other tenants include The Habit Burger Grill, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Supercuts, Subway, and L.A. Nails. Hours of operation will be Sunday through Thursday 10:30 am to 9:30 pm, Friday and Saturday 10:30 am to 10:00 pm.
