Skateboarders Are Lousy House Guests

Corey Duffel, a professional skateboarder with Walnut Creek roots, tells a few stories in an interview with espn.com.

Duffel was in Walnut Creek to celebrate Mother's Day with his mom and relatives.

And in the interview he explains how skateboarders are the worst house guests going. "Crusty punk bands are usually the cleanest," he adds.

Duffel is coming back from an injury that had his right foot swelled up under the ankle like a golf ball. He's getting back in shape with acupuncture and ultrasound.
