Assistance League of Diablo Valley Joins the Walnut Creek Parade of Lights

On behalf of Assistance League^® of Diablo Valley, I'd like to extend our sincere appreciation to Broadway Plaza for a spectacular Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting on November 29th. Thank you for including Assistance League in the parade, and allowing us to tell the story of our community programs which help thousands of people in Contra Costa County each year. We are happy and appreciative to share a community relationship with Broadway Plaza and look forward to continued partnership in years to come.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?…Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
