Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop Does "Disneymania"

Is anyone interested in travelling back in time yet avoiding exorbitant gas prices and congested highways?  On Tues., June 19, Assistance League® of Diablo Valley member volunteers, those wonderful ladies who have devoted the past year to sorting and storing Mickey memorabilia, will usher in the "Disneymania" promotion.  This will take place at Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, where you will also

return to 50’s and 60’s prices.

Relive the imaginative genius that created this great
American past time; relive the  magical moments from childhood that provided a safer, less complicated world.  Or, in a more current context, collect items that would enhance any "Mickey Collection" at recession-proof prices.
If you happen to be down-sizing and no longer have room for  “Adventure Land” in your home, you still have time
to drop off any donations and help somebody else “…wish upon a star.”  Don’t forget Mickey’s advice; ask for a tax
donation receipt (or something like that).

Assistance League of Diablo Valley thanks you for your donations and purchases. Thinking of others who are
in need and at risk, i.e., those who are vulnerable, enriches our lives and remains a pervasive part of our heritage.  To learn more about Assistance League of Diablo Valley and its primary fundraiser, the Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, visit our web site: diablovalley.assistanceleague.org

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
