With the holiday season right around the corner, Tender Greens is giving all the great Walnut Creek home-bakers a chance to prove their pastry prowess with their first annual pie contest!

Overview: Think you have the best pie in Walnut Creek? Prove your pastry prowess and enter Tender Greens’ 1st Annual Pie Contest!

Winners Receive: Dinner for 4 and will have their creation featured on the Tender Greens menu for the following week!

To Enter: Email recipes to SeanC@TenderGreens.com with “Pie Contest” in the subject line

Judging: The chef team will judge pies on their creativity, seasonality and taste/texture. 

*Winners will be chosen and notified on December 13.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous".
