Children's Book "The Travels of Ching" by Robert Bright Receives Honorable Mention at The 2013 Paris Book Festival
Sara Ruffin, a Walnut Creek, CA resident, has just re-published the children’s book, “The Travels of Ching” which was written and illustrated by her grandfather Robert Bright in 1943. The book tells a very heartwarming story of a little doll from China who takes a journey across the globe in a search for someone who will love him. The book was entered in The 2013 Paris Book Festival, which honors the best in international publishing. The Travels of Ching received Honorable Mention against stiff worldwide competition and we are all very proud of this wonderful acknowledgment from Paris. The awards ceremony will be held in Paris on May 30, 2013.
