Register online here.

Like arena football, Ultimate Tackle Football is a full pads, contact style of football with 8 players per side and modified rules that make for a safer and more exciting style of play.Younger players benefit from a low key, educational program that allows for fun development of skills while older players enjoy team based competition that really kicks.

Divisions are unique in that we place players where they are best suited according to age and experience, and factors such as size and weight are less important.

FRESHMEN: Ages 7-10 WITH LITTLE TO NO PREVIOUS TACKLE EXPERIENCE

No weight limits for ages 7-9. Age 10 and over 100lbs will be placed in Junior Varsity, regardless of experience. This is primarily a developmental division. Football fun is in store but focus is on development of basic skills and confidence. It is low key and educational with light
competitive level. THIS IS NOT A TRAVELING DIVISION BUT MAY INCLUDE A TRAVEL DAY LATER IN SEASON.

JUNIOR VARSITY: This is a traveling divisio n (some games in San Ramon, some in Concord). Ages 9-12.

Age 9 - No weight limit and with tackle experience.

Age 10 - Over 100lbs with or without tackle experience.

Age 11 and 12 - Under 110 lbs and with or without previous tackle experience.

VARSITY: This is a traveling division (some games in San Ramon, some in Concord). Ages 11-14.

Age 11 and 12 - over 110lbs.

All players ages 13-14.

Teammate requests in JV and Varsity are encouraged but
groups of more than 5 players must have coaching staff provided.

Freshman are not grouped in official teams but in groups
that learn together and play together as a growing developmental group.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
