Trinity Center Update

The Trinity Center located at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Walnut Creek, formerly known as Fresh Start has made significant progress and remains in the transition process which began November 1st. 30 people from the homeless community attended opening day and attendance is growing each week as the word gets out about what we are doing. The current wish list includes: office volunteers, warm clothing, socks, boots, bottled water, cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies, graphic artist, business attorney to help with setting up Non Profit Corporation. Donations especially needed for Trinity Center Holiday Celebration for participants on December 20th.

If you would like to help or make a tax deductible donation, make the check payable to "Trinity Center".

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous".
