We recently had the pleasure of being in Walnut Creek on Wednesday, May 15.
My daughter and I were going to a SF Giants game to celebrate my daughter's birthday and with a dinner at P.F. Chang's.
We came in via BART and figured we could walk to the restaurant from BART. It is not far, but it was 97 degrees and my daughter is expecting, and the heat really made it difficult for her.
We decided during our meal that we would not walk back to BART, but rather try your trolley "Free Ride."
We were standing on a corner trying to figure out how to access the Trolley, when a nice women approached us and asked if we needed directions. We explained our situation, and she asked if she could take us back to BART.
She insisted we not walk in the heat and that Trolley might take some time.
We would not normally except a ride with a stranger, but she seemed so kind.
We only got her first name (Candie, sp?)
My daughter and I felt so good to know that there are still some very nice people in this world.
We thanked her, but felt her kindness should be recognized. So again, thank you so very much!!
Hope we see you again someday!!
