This Friday, August 23, at 5:00 pm singles will start getting together at Modern China Café in Walnut Creek. (OK to come late.)

This restaurant has a central location, great happy hour food and drink prices, and a great space both indoors and outside. Happy hour runs all day until 6 pm and again from 9 to midnight. There is a great Dim Sum menu with most items for $2.00. Drinks are equally reasonable – draft beer at $4, bottled beer from $3 to $5, and the good stuff at $6; house wine is in the same price range; your bartender will be happy to let you know what your favorite cocktail costs.

Modern China Café is located at 1525 N. Main Street in Walnut Creek; there is some metered street parking or park in the parking structures at either end of Locust. Be sure to ask any of the staff for “Susan” or Phil if you are new.
