Abe Lincoln Presides Over Walnut Creek Library

Traveling exhibit shows the depth of the dilemmas facing the 16th president.

The Walnut Creek Library is featuring a colorful lesson about Abraham Lincoln.

The Lincoln exhibit, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, comes to select cities courtesy of the American Library Association and the National Constitution Center.

The exhibit on the second floor of the library, which opened Friday and continues through Feb. 8, describes the pivotal debates that Lincoln presided over. Those include slavery, the union and constitutional rights during wartime.

The library is located at 1644 N. Broadway.

Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
