Alamo Patch Reader Captures Photo of Boar Family

They came down out of the hills and dined on dry grass.

A family of wild boars came down out of the hills when Deborah Walsh and her Alamo family were out walking their chihuahuas, and she snapped this picture of the oinkers.

Two adults and three babies were munching on dry grass up the hill off Stone Valley Road.

"They eventually made their way up the hill out of our sight, but we probably were standing and watching them eat for at least 20 minutes," wrote Walsh in an email to Patch. "No noise, no smells, just were enjoying a dinner at dusk."
