I Brake For Snakes
A Walnut Creek Patch user found a bit of wildlife at Heather Farm Park.
Update: Walnut Creek Patch user Julie Jepsen-Grant was minding her own business, riding her bike (not driving her car, as your humble correspondent originally assumed) on a trail at Heather Farm Park on Thursday, when she encountered a rather large snake in the road.
Being an intrepid and cool-headed photographer, Jepsen-Grant chose to pull out her camera and capture the moment, rather than do what this author would have done and get the heck out of there.
