Last Day To Get a Ticket To Ride At Walnut Festival

Get your Midway on at Heather Farm Community Park.

If you've been putting off a chance to score some colorful stuffed animals in a booth at the Walnut Festival, the time to procrastinate is over.
Sunday is the last day of the four-day run at Heather Farm Community Park.

Carnival hours today are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Lakeside area children's activities are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is $5, plus a $1 discount is available with a donation to the Contra Costa Food Bank. Seniors (65 and older) and children (ages 2 and under) and active military personnel (with identification) can enter the festival for free.

Patch reader Wendy helped us with this:

  • individual ticket - $1
  • 20 tickets for $19
  • 50 tickets for $40
  • and it takes between 3-5 tickets to get on a ride.
