'Operation Welcome Home' Plans Saturday Ceremony at 3 p.m. in Walnut Creek for Returning Military

Operation Welcome Home is hosting a motorcycle escort and celebration in Walnut Creek’s Civic Park at the gazebo on Saturday -- June 21 -- at 3 p.m. (sharp) to welcome home our troops! 

The meet-up area is across from the Walnut Creek City Hall and police station and the Armed Forces Memorial at the corner of Broadway and Civic Drive.

  • Senior Airman Bryce Chilcote and his wife
  • Staff Sergeant Sean Murphy and his wife
  • Staff Sergeant Adam Netzel and his wife

Senior Airman Chilcote made Airman of the Month while he was in Afghanistan and SSgt Murphy and SSgt Netzel also made Non-Commissioned Officer of the Month for the 361st Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron.
