The annual four-day September carnival has sprouted from Heather Farm Park and is ready to go. Are you going to attend?
The Ferris Wheel is up. The rides are in place. The corn dogs are cooking.
The 2013 Walnut Festival kicks off on Thursday evening and runs through Sunday night at Heather Farm Park.
The four-day carnival has rides, food, community booths and a stage with different musical acts every evening.
Admission is $6 for most folks. Children under 5 and active military personnel (with valid ID) are allowed in for free. If you donate a can of food, admission is $5.
