Police arrested 29-year-old Ariel Romero Ortigoza of Walnut Creek on suspicion of trying to seduce middle school girls into sex acts.

Charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated were filed against Hossein Tabrizi, stemming from a Sept. 8 pickup truck-pedestrian collision in front of the Marriott Hotel on North Main Street.
