Former Assistant Coach at Northgate High Pleads Not Guilty to Sex Crime Charges.  Christopher Yang, the 27-year-old former assistant coach at Northgate High and Campolindo High, pleaded not guilty on Monday to nine felony counts, including four counts of sexual contact with a minor. Story here. 

Remembering Las Lomas Student Amir Khakimov. Eighteen-year-old Amir Khakimov, a native of Uzbekistan and a student at Las Lomas High School, died Tuesday at John Muir Hospital from complications of bleeding from the brain. Full story here.
