Choreographer Talks About Wonderland & Alice

Contra Costa Ballet posts video interview with Robert Dekkers for its upcoming performances of 'Alice in Wonderland.'

Choreographer Robert Dekkers is recreating, in dance form, a world where everyone is mad. Don't take my word for it — my impeccable authority is the Cheshire Cat.

Dekkers talks about his interpretation of the characters in Lewis Carroll's classic, basing them on friends of his. (So he's got a friend somewhere saying, "Hey, guess what? I'm the White Rabbit.")

Contra Costa Ballet has posted a video of the preparations for Alice in Wonderland, which steps forward on May 11 and 12 at the Lesher Center for the Arts. Wayne King produced the video.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
