Walnut Creek Residents Invited to Hospice of the East Bay Tree of Lights

Celebrate the Joy of Remembrance at Hospice of the East Bay Tree of Lights

  • A special memorial tree for children on: Sunday, December 12, 5:00 p.m.  Oak Alley behind Va de Vi Restaurant at 1511 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Walnut Creek

                                                               and

  • The Civic Park Hospice Tree: December 19, 5:00 p.m.  Park Place in Civic Park, Corner of North Broadway and Civic Dr. 

The ceremonies are held to honor or remember beloved friends and family members in the Walnut Creek community.  Everyone is invited to participate in the events which include music, poetry, remembrances by family members and friends of Hospice, and the special moment when the tree lights up.

Proceeds from Tree of Lights ceremonies benefit our communities and the patients and families in the care of Hospice of the East Bay.

Established in 1977, Hospice of the East Bay is a not-for-profit agency that helps people cope with life-limiting illnesses by providing medical, emotional, spiritual, and practical support for patients and families, regardless of their ability to pay. 

To make a suggested donation of $25 per light send a tax-deductible check to Hospice of the East Bay, at 3470 Buskirk Avenue, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.  Credit card donations may be made by calling Hospice of the East Bay at (925) 887-5678. Please note which tree you are choosing to buy a light for, and the name of the person being remembered or honored.
