Diablo Ballet & Walnut Creek Library Present “Ballet & Books” This Saturday

Diablo Ballet of Walnut Creek helps the Walnut Creek main library kick off their children’s summer reading program with “Ballet & Books,” this Saturday (June 18th) from 11 AM to 12 Noon in the library’s Oak View, located at 1644 North Broadway in Walnut Creek.  Admission is free. Children and parents are invited to stop by for Diablo Ballet’s “Angelina Ballerina” story time, featuring costumed dancers reading this popular children’s book. There will also be dancers in various costumes from around the world to promote the library’s “One World, Many Stories” reading program. Bring a camera and have your picture taken with a real ballerina!

Members of Diablo Ballet’s Prima Ballerina kid’s club can bring their membership card and receive a special surprise.  Those who are not members are welcome to join this exciting, free club that gets children up-close to the action of Diablo Ballet with special members-only events.  For information on Diablo Ballet’s Prima Ballerina Club, visit: http://www.diabloballet.org/press.html
