KidFest in Concord to raise money for MDUSD music and sports programs

Concord's 21st annual KidFest promises a long three-day weekend of fun for kids, and their families, while benefit two good causes.

The event runs Saturday through Monday, and aimed at children 12 and younger. It offers rides, hands-on activities, and educational events. There will also be a special appearance by Mama Bear Bernstein from the Berenstain Bears and other favorite characters from TV, movies & books. Admission is $5. 

The festival will take place in a new location, moving from Todos Santos Plaza to Mt. Diablo High School. The school is located at 2450 Grant Street in Concord.

Proceeds will benefit the United Mt. Diablo Athletic Foundation and the Mt. Diablo Music Education Foundation, which are providing volunteers for this event.
