"Race to Nowhere" screening

The criticly aclaimed film, "Race to Nowhere," features stories of young people around the country who have been pushed to the brink, educators who are burned out and worried that students aren’t developing the skills they need, and parents who are trying to do what’s best for their kids.

Vicki Abeles, an ex-Wall Street lawyer and mother of three, turned filmmaker focuces of the high-pressure culture on the nation's school-aged children, and how it's creating unhealthy, unprepared and stressed-out kids. "Race to Nowhere" is a call to families, educators, and policy makers to rethink how to "best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens."
