Unfinished Business: Empowering Women & Girls

Award-winning, best-selling author, producer, and social entrepreneur, Gina Otto is bringing her world-renowned movement of “inspiring girls helping girls” to Contra Costa County on Tuesday, May 24, 2011.  “Unfinished Business: Empowering Women and Girls,” organized by local Acalanes High School student and Walnut Creek resident, Jordan Osur Myers as her Senior class project, will be hosted by Otto.  Through Otto’s modern-day fairy tale, Cassandra’s Angel, the evening will be dedicated to discussing empowerment among women and girls, focusing on a process of mentorship and self expression as told in the book, to achieve personal growth and self esteem.  This program is FREE and open to all girls and women, but is also a really great Mother/Daughter event!
