Winds of Change

Walnut Creek Concert Band presents: Winds of Change.  Harvey Benstein, Music Director and Condctor and G. Mancho Gonzalez, Assistant Conductor.

The repertoire for the Concert Band evolved during the 20th Century.  "Winds of Change" presents significant works shaping the repertoire of the modern concert band.

John Phillip Sousa marches will be presented along with modern composers;  Grainger, Reed, Persichetti and Holst.

The band is  raising money to purchase a modern piece of band music from a major American composer to continue the advance of great American music.
