St. Patrick's Day Celebration

  • Why Go: This two-day outdoor festival includes authentic music and dance, an Irish Tea Cottage, more than 150 arts and crafts and vendor booth displays, two stages of entertainment, carnival rides, food & drink and fun for everyone.

Wine Tasting 101 - Italy Uncorked
  • Where: , Sequoia Room; March 11, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: Take a wine tour though a few regions of Italy: Tuscany , Piedmont, Southern Italy and the Veneto. This class lets you discover the best Italy has to offer without the jetlag. The class includes wine and food tasting.

Live at the Orinda
  • Where: ; March 11, 7–10 pm
  • Why Go: Lovers of laughter will enjoy a champagne-filled night of comedy at the landmark Orinda Theatre, presented by The Orinda Chamber of Commerce to support local non-profit groups. Featured comedians will be Ed Tracey, Dan St. Paul, Vic Dunlop, G. King, John Fox, and Denny Johnston – all highly acclaimed masters of comedy.

Lamplighters present Trial by Jury and Engaged
  • Where: , Hofmann Theatre; March 11, 8 pm
  • Why Go: The show begins with Trial by Jury, a musical comedy about a jilted bride suing her would-be groom. Next is Engaged, a comedy about a man who is engaged to three women.

St. Patrick's Day Dinner Dance

  • Why Go: The Community Youth Center of Concord holds its St. Patrick's Day Dinner Dance fundraiser at the Blackhawk Museum.
