Homecoming for Las Lomas Grad Guitar Player

It's an indie rock homecoming for Walnut Creek native Amy Miller when her band Panic Years brings a little anxiety to the El Rio club at 3158 Mission St., San Francisco, at 9 p.m. Thursday.
Expect some of Miller's Walnut Creek friends at the gig this evening. Miller, a guitar player, graduated from Las Lomas High and packed up for U.C. Santa Cruz to study classical piano and composition, according to a feature in the Contra Costa Times. Eventually, she burned out on classical music.
