Sunday Singalong - Compared To What?

A great jazz tune that will get your toes a-tappin' on this fine Sunday morning. Language caution: there is adult language in this song.

Pianist Les McCann and saxophonist Eddie Harris recorded this song live at Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, in 1969. The lyrics are certainly 60-ish, but the music is timeless. Enjoy.

Thanks to Patch blogger Lesley Stiles for the recommendation.

Awesome! Took me right back to 1969. As to the lyrics being "certainly 60-ish", well, I guess you had to be there...
