Violinist Sarah Chang To Perform In March At Lesher Center

The renowned musician has been praised by musicians and audiences alike for her virtuosity.

Violinist Sarah Chang will peform in a special concert sponsored by the Diablo Regional Arts Association, Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Lesher Center for the Arts, Walnut Creek.

Chang first performed in Walnut Creek in 1991 for the California Symphony. She has been seen in concert with such conductors as Kurt Masur, Valery Gergiev, Gustavo Dudamel, and Mariss Jansons, and has played chamber music with artists including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Pinchas Zukerman, Martha Argerich, Lynn Harrell, Isaac Stern, and Yo-Yo Ma. The late violinish Yehudi Menuhin called her, “the most wonderful, perfect, ideal violinist I have ever heard.”
