The Walnut Creek International Short Film Festival opens today -- Friday, May 2 - and will run through Sunday at the Century 14 Theaters at 1201 Locust St.

The film festival features "shorts" from around the world, each film 30 minutes or shorter in length.
As Walnut Creek's only film festival dedicated to short films, WCIsFF was founded as a way to showcase brilliant filmmaking in the short form, with the exploration of intriguing, thought-provoking and innovative films that will resonate with our festival audiences.
