Get Your Reservations: Walnut Creek Restaurant Week Starts April 15

Second annual restaurant week will be April 15-April 21.

Walnut Creek's second annual Restaurant Week will be held April 15 to April 21.

This event will bring the city’s exciting food scene to life for another delicious week showcasing the variety of cuisine that Walnut Creek has to offer.

During Walnut Creek Restaurant Week, about 30 local restaurants will be offering three-course prix-fixe menus; $20, $30 and $40 for dinner and $10 and $20 for lunch. These special deals will be in addition to the restaurant’s regular menus. Click here for a list of participating restaurants.

This year Patch and Restaurant Week are offering two invitations to the private Yelp Elite Restaurant Week kick-off party at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on Sunday April 14. Sign up for a Patch newsletter using the above form and you'll be entered into a random drawing for the invite to the event, which will feature wine, cocktails and food tasting stations.

Restaurant Week not only draws people to our beautiful town to dine but also give locals another reason to support their favorites and the opportunity to try out some of our best newcomers.

Walnut Creek’s first Restaurant Week in 2012 was a huge success. Most restaurants reported a substantial increase in business, and it appeared that the locals and even non-locals loved the deals enough to dine out more than once that week.

Restaurant Weeks have been launched in major cities around the United States since 2002. San Diego, New York, Chicago, Boston, Miami and Atlanta are just a few of more than 26 major cities nationwide that have Restaurant Weeks. With so many uniquely delectable options in Walnut Creek, we are certain that this event will be around for years to come.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
