Ristorante Adds Lunch Hours Tuesday through Friday

Salvatore Ristorante has been on North Broadway for more than 15 years.

After 15 years of serving fine Italian food on North Broadway, Salvatore Ristorante is adding lunch hours.

"Due to the overwhelming support of our loyal and dedicated guests, we have decided to open for lunch starting (Tuesday), March 5," wrote Giuseppe Alagna, an assistant manager at the ristorante, in an email. The restaurant at 1627 North Broadway will be open for lunch Tuesday through Friday.

The lunch menu features grilled chicken and Portabello mushroom panini, and carbonara pasta, said Alagna, who said proceeds from the first week will go to Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation "to help all those cute animals in need."
