Zachary's Pizza Hiring in Pleasant Hill

The Chicago-style pizzeria will open a new restaurant in downtown Pleasant Hill at the end of this year or by early 2013. The job pays $11 an hour.

No debate about pizza in the East Bay is served without a mention of Zachary's — an Oakland-founded chain with restaurants in Rockridge, Berkeley and San Ramon. Now, the pizzeria popular for its deep-dish delights is planning on opening a fourth location —.

Recruiting has begun for the new restaurant, which will and start dishing up pies at the end of this year or by early 2013. Staff at Zachary's Pleasant Hill will start on $11 an hour plus tips, according to the job ad on Craigslist, and will be trained at the Oakland and San Ramon locations.

Becoming part of the front-of-the-house crew requires a "passion for customer service and hospitality, teamwork, and manual work (cleaning, lifting, light prep)."
