The Walnut Creek voters have spoken.
The favorite preschool in this week's Patch poll is Heather Farm Preschool, the city's preschool at Heather Farm Park with 87 votes. The next two places went to Trinity Lutheran Preschool with 44 votes and Fine Arts Preschool at 37.
Heather Farm Head Teacher Trish Konzak said last week she heard from the parent of a former preschooler about the poll. She emailed her parents and asked them to vote if they were interested. "I'm very pleased that the parents took the time to vote for us," Konzak said. "I appreciate their support.
"We tell the parents we're play-based," she said about Heather Farm. "Play is the most important thing a preschooler can do." The staff makes sure the play is developmentally appropriate, she added.
