More Late Night Work Along Interstate 680

Lane closures begin Thursday at 8 p.m. on northbound I680 from Rudgear Road to La Gonda Way.

Be prepared for lots of noise and delays during multiple lane closures on northbound Interstate 680 the rest of this week and parts of next week.

Caltrans will begin lane closures Thursday at 8 p.m. for more crack and seat work from Rudgear Road in Walnut Creek to La Gonda Way in Danville.

Up to three lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday, and will continue Friday from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Closures will resume next Monday and last through Wednesday during the hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Lane closures will begin on southbound I680 between Rudgear Road and La Gonda Way once cracking on the northbound lanes is complete.

The southbound construction and lane closures will occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, and is expected to be complete that same day.

Construction crews will also be paving both the northbound and southbound lanes, between Diablo Road and La Gonda Way in Danville, tonight.

The paving will occur on the northbound lanes tonight from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The southbound lanes will be paved Monday through Wednesday during the hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
