Patch Picks: Super Bowl Viewing at Walnut Creek's Favorite Watering Holes

Party and watch the game with friends at home, or come downtown and have fun and make new friends at some of Walnut Creek's favorite sports bars.

If you and your friends didn't get it together to organize your own party, or no one you know has a big screen, high-def TV to optimize your viewing pleasure, you can head down to one of Walnut Creek's popular watering holes Sunday to watch the Super Bowl.

Actually, these watering holes offer a sense of community that will add to the pleasure of watching the Pittsburgh Steelers battle the Green Bay Packers for the Super Bowl XLV championship. Kick off at the Dallas Cowboys stadium is 3:30 p.m. local time.

Here are the downtown spots at which fans will be gathering to watch the game, of course, but also those famous Superbowl commercials and the Black Eyed Peas during the half-time show.
