Last Day to Enter Patch's $100G Holiday Contest

Monday, Dec. 26, is deadline to enter to win $100,000 for your local public school district if the readers pick your house's decorating excellence from among national finalists.

Ho, ho, ho. You've procrastinated long enough.

Monday is the deadline to enter the contest that makes the statement that your house is the best-decked in town. Enter our holiday lights contest and you could win $100,000 for your local public school district.

Just upload a photo or video at deckthehouse.patch.com. Patch users can then vote for their favorite house in the neighborhood.

Local winners from 860 Patch towns will be narrowed down to 24 finalists — all of whom will have their December electric bills paid by Patch (up to $500)!

From Dec. 30 to Jan. 8, Patch users will vote for the Best Decked House out of the finalists. The winner gets $100,000 donated to their local school district.

Deck your halls and don your lights and ladders (and your competitive spirit).

Whether your style is sophisticated or silly, we want you to dress up your house in the name of good cheer and our kids. Your home will be decked out like it’s never been before. If we win, what better gift could we give to Walnut Creek, Concord and Clayton kids!

Don't forget to let your schools know, too. Print out the accompanying fliers and pass them around.
