Power Outage In Walnut Creek Monday Morning

About 3,400 customers lost power Monday morning, with about 1,300 still without service until the afternoon.

About 3,400 customers lost power Monday morning in the Walnut Creek area, a PG&E spokesman said.

The outage was reported at 10:32 a.m., PG&E spokesman Jason King said. As of 12:30 p.m., 1,382 customers still were affected.

Power is expected to be restored to all customers by 3 p.m., he said.

The cause of the outage is under investigation and crews are working on repairs, King said.

The outage affected parts of Walnut Creek and Rossmoor, including Creekside Drive, Rossmoor Parkway and Terra California Drive, and Lancaster and Meadow roads.
