Civic Arts Printmakers to Exhibit at the Walnut Creek Community Art Gallery

Five printmakers in the Walnut Creek Civic Arts Education (CAE) “Open Studio”, who meet weekly in a collaborative setting at the city’s Shadelands campus, will be exhibiting artwork produced on CAE's magnificent French American etching press.

Kiyomi Kumo – monotype and drypoint prints

  • When:   Exhibit opens Wed., April 2 and runs through Sat., May 24, 2014
  • Meet the artists:  Wed., April 2, 4 pm – 5 pm
  • Library Hours:  M-Th:10 am – 8 pm, F/Sat:10 am – 6 pm

We are a group of independent and experienced printmakers residing in the Bay Area (mostly Walnut Creek), who have been participating in the programs and using the facilities provided by Walnut Creek CAE for over 10 years.  As a group, we represent years of dedicated printmaking.  Members of our group belong to professional organizations such as the Society of American Graphic Artists, the National Association of Women Artists, and the Audubon Artists Inc., and also local Bay Area art associations.
