Diablo Symphony Plays Britten and Berlioz in "Inspirations from Nature"

The Diablo Symphony, central Contra Costa's premier community orchestra, presents its second concert of its 51st season with a program inspired by nature.  Benjamin Britten's beautiful "Sea Interludes" will feature violist Ellen Ruth Rose.  Actor Bella Martin will narrate Hector Berlioz's "Harold in Italy," which was inspired by Byron's epic poem "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage" and also by Berlioz's own travels in Italy.  The delightful Copland "Barley Wagons" from Music for Movies will also be played.

Tickets for the Lesher concert are still available at www.lesherartscenter.org or at the Box Office.
