The Bedford Gallery is excited to debut Art Makes, an educational event led by our experienced Docent Council.  For each show the Bedford hosts, Docents will offer a free Art Make project for children off all ages.  An excellent way to introduce the young people in your life to the creative world of art work, projects will highlight the theme of the exhibition and offer children an opportunity to engage with art in a hands-on, educational, and creative way!

Saturday, January 26th from 2-4pm

Saturday, February 16th from 2-4pm

The art project dates listed above are for our current exhibition, Broadway Revealed and are free with the price of admission.  Remember, children under the age of 12 are always free at the Bedford!  Details will be available on our website, www.bedordgallery.org.

Please join us and participate in this wonderful new program, intended to bring art into the hearts of all young people in the Diablo Region!

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
