Day of the Horse

Day of the Horse IN 2004 the US Congress voted to recognize Dec 13th as the nationally observed Day of the Horse, a beautiful and hard working animal that helped us build our great country. The Equestrian Center of Walnut Creek and San Ramon Valley Horsemen will celebrate on Sat Dec 8. The public is welcome to this festive, family-friendly, and free event! At approx 12:00pm trail riders will begin arriving from Mt Diablo, at 1pm you can watch exciting riding demonstrations in arenas including: cowboys n'cowgirls, gymkhana, 4h horse members, mini horses, drill teams and much more! Our Snack Shack will be open for a $5 hot dog or chili lunch deal with chips & soda, and other great snacks. Please go to our website www.ecwc.org for more info or email info@equestriancenterofwalnutcreek.org.

We invite you to bring canned food donation for the Contra Costa County Food Bank.
