About Disaster Savior Tara

Tara is one of the most beloved deities. Many praise her as the “Mother of All Buddhas.” Mother Tara has supreme power and wisdom. She vows to guide and protect the welfare of all beings until they all achieve enlightenment. Green Tara was born from Avalokitesvara's tear of compassion. 21 Taras, deriving from the heart of Green Tara, are consisted of Taras in different colors and holding different ritual objects to bring harmony, prosperity, longevity, overcoming obstacles and saving beings from dangers and disasters.
The Disaster Savior Tara, is one of the 21 Taras. Her color is white and holding a full bloomed white lotus purifying the karmic hindrances of all beings and mitigating disasters of all kind. Her extended right leg shows that she is always ready to arise and come to the aid of those who need her help. Her right hand in the mudra of supreme generosity and bravery manifests her ultimate strength to protect all sentient beings.

I hate sand in parks. Nice breeding area for lice, and a great place for ferrel cats to poop. IRead More can't wait for them to do the park at Arbolado.

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
