The Diablo Innovation Alliance (DIA) and the Contra Costa Economic Partnership (CCEP) are hosting the last in a series of three rooftop solar PV financing workshops on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the San Ramon Community Center at Central Park from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The free workshop, presented in partnership with Sustainable Contra Costa, Sustainable San Ramon, and the Contra Costa Association of REALTORS, aims to arm residential property owners with information needed to navigate through the various rooftop solar installation financing options to find one that best suits their needs.

The event includes an overview of solar PV technology; a lender panel presentation on solar project financing, current rebates and tax incentives; a question and answer period; plus the opportunity to chat one-on-one with solar companies and lending institutions. The workshop is open to companies dealing in residential real estate and all residents of the East Bay region.

A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
