If you've begun writing your family's stories or are new to this type of writing and would like to begin, this is a class for you. We will learn how to write about our family history in scenes that will capture the interest of those who come after.  We will explore what makes family members come alive on the pages, what details to include, and how our writing will capture and communicate the strenghs and values of our family.  This class is a gift to ourselves and to the children and grandchildren who follow.

Tuesdays
January 22 - February 26
10:00-11:30am
$73 (Orinda residents); $83 (Non-residents)

How about you research the current ADA guidelines regarding surface materials for play areas?Read More Walnut Creek is simply acting to be in compliance. Not sure where you get the idea that wood chips are "much more dangerous". A reasonable overview of the current regulations can be found here: http://risk.utah.gov/newsletter/documents/playground_surfacing.pdf If you disagree with the regulations, please contact your representatives.
