Free Stargazing of the Moon, Jupiter, Orion Nebula Star Nursery March 7th San Ramon

This Friday, March 7th, the Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society and San Ramon Parks are holding a free public event at Old Ranch Park from 7 PM to 9 PM, many fine telescopes will be setup to observe craters on the Moon, the giant planet Jupiter and a few of its moons, the Orion Nebula Star Nursery-Star Factory, where hundreds of new solar systems are forming, along with real meteorites for everyone to examine that are over 4.5 billion years old! This event is one of the few that are held in the "lowlands", it's a great opportunity for the general public to learn more and have fun doing it!
