Parents' Night Out Benefits Lindsay Wildlife Museum

Kids can enjoy fun nature activities and a movie Friday, April 11, while moms and dads catch up with a date night, courtesy of a fundraiser to benefit Walnut Creek’s Lindsay Wildlife

Museum.

Parkmead Keyspot, the nonprofit day-care center located at Parkmead Elementary, hosts this parents' night out. The event will raise money to benefit the Lindsay Wildlife Museum, which provides wildlife care, as well as education to more than 100,000 visitors each year.

Parents are invited to drop off their kids, 4 years, nine months and older, at Keyspot from 6 to 10:30 p.m. While at Keyspot, the kids will start with dinner, then have fun with two nature activities and watch the film, “Near Wild: The Story of the Lindsay Wildlife Museum."

The cost is $40 per child. Keyspot staff are donating dinner, activities and childcare. All proceeds benefit the Lindsay Museum’s annual fund, which supports wildlife rehabilitation hospital programs and children’s education and museum exhibit programs.

Parkmead Keyspot is located at 1920 Magnolia Way, Walnut Creek. For more information or to sign up, contact Joyce Wylie-Reubelt at attendance@keyspot.org or at 925-939-1543
