Spring Artists' Market

Civic Arts Education's Spring Artists’ Market is the perfect

place to find unique gifts for yourself and others. Once again, there will

be two locations bursting with creative wonders: Shadelands Auditorium, 111 N.

Wiget Lane, and Civic Park Studio E, corner of Civic and Broadway, both in

Walnut Creek.

Both locations begin the sale with a fun reception on May 2 from

5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening features live music, hors d'oeuvres and

the opportunity to shop for one-of-a-kind gift creations by artists from Civic

Arts Education and the Clay Arts Guild.

The sale continues Saturday and Sunday with Shadelands

Auditorium featuring all art media including ceramics, glass

art, paintings, photography, printmaking, jewelry, textiles and more. The

hours on Saturday and Sunday are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. At Civic Park

Studio E, functional and decorative ceramic art including porcelain,

raku, sculpture and more will be for sale. The studio will be open on Saturday

from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5

p.m.
