Memorial Day Observance in Civic Park

Please join members of the community to honor all service personnel at a Memorial Day observance at the Civic Park gazebo (1301 Civic Drive). There will be a laying of a wreath at Veterans Memorial Plaza and the Walnut Creek Concert Band, under the direction of Harvey Benstein, will perform.

Special attention will be given to the veterans of the Korean War in remembrance of the 60th anniversary of the start of the war, however, all veterans and active duty services personnel are especially invited to attend.
