Every student in Walnut Creek has a story to tell. Share your talent in the second annual National Library Week Writing Challenge at the Ygnacio Valley Library! Begins March 1, 2012 for elementary school students who live or go to school in Walnut Creek. The theme is "You Belong @ your library!" Get more information and pick up an entry form at the YVL. Recognition celebration with the Mayor of Walnut Creek and other city dignitaries on Monday, April 30 at 6 PM. Deadline for submission is April 13.
